Chakreshwari Pooja

Just like a king who runs his kingdom through a minister and a general by his side, Sri Lalitha Mahatripura Sundari runs the universe with a minister and a general too. As per Sri Vidya sampradaya (Sri Vidya lineage), it is wrong to propitiate Goddess Lalitha devi for materialistic gains. But, as humans, we often find ourselves in predicaments where we must seek divine intervention in order to gain materialistic benefits. As a solution, Lord Dakshinamurthy, Adi Shankara, Hayagreeva, Ananda Bhairava and rahasya pooja suggest the worship of Sri Lalitha devi’s minister in command, namely – Goddess Matangi.

Matangi is also the preceeding diety of the Chakra that is worshipped in Chakreshwari pooja. On performing her pooja, blessings will be showered through realisation of desires and ambitions, be it success in career, educational growth, business accomplishments, attaining better health, etc.

On completion of the pooja, the participants will be presented with an energized Matangi chakra to install at their home and pray to. This will not only energize their abode and  prevent negative interference, but also invites the goddess into their home.
