Sahasra Lingarchana

A ritual that was performed by Lord Vishnu himself, by addressing Lord Shiva, through sahasra marakatha lingas. Lord Vishnu then went onto become the God of Three Worlds. Inspired by this, the mankind performs Sahasra lingarchana as well. We intend to carry out this ceremony with 1,116 Jade (marakatha) lingas to appease Lord Shiva.

It is considered as an antidote to all sins. Although Sahasra Linga prasthara archana is a ritual for Lord Shiva, it is less common knowledge that it is also a pooja of all that which surrounds Shiva, i.e the Kailasam. This is a pooja of Shiva Kutumbam, the deities, demigods, manes (pithrus) and all the residents of the divine realm. It is a pooja that brings the great Kailasa to land.
