Yoga Upanayanam

Yoga-Upanayam is a ceremonial rite where an aspirant (irrespective of age, gender or religion) is initiated into the Yogic and spiritual world, and presented with a sacred thread. This ritual is performed in a Yogic manner as per the ancient scriptures. One is believed to have had a rebirth (dwija) on completion of this ritual.
